🐔 The Re:Farm program helps families in Westwood cultivate food in the community, by the community, for the community. Our urban farm located on the Re:Vision campus is the nucleus of the network of 150-200 family gardens that residents maintain with the help of a trained community health worker. Every garden is unique to the family that plants it, but harvest is always incredible. In 2021, family gardens produced more than 65,000 pounds of organically grown produce!

Our Lawrence Street Community Center provides a safe place for people experiencing homelessness to be during the day. This drug- and alcohol-free environment provides a temporary daytime solution for people in need. Guests can also learn about our long-term programs, which focus on creating long-term stability in the lives of participants.

You may also enter code 0657 on the keypad at the front left of the gate to open the gate.*There is also street parking in the neighborhood (metered, 2-hour, etc.) and other public pay lots. We are unable to reimburse volunteers for parking fees or parking tickets.

Register Here!👗 Volunteers will help at the Donation Center, sort clothing by type and size, conduct quality checks and hang them up so they’re ready for distribution to the children and caregivers we serve.
Volunteer Requirements: A Precious Child accepts volunteers 5 years of age and older. Volunteers ages 5-12 must attend with a parent or guardian. Volunteers 13 years old and up can volunteer independently.

Register Here!🏔️ Help check-in and distribute food to members of the community, volunteers may be asked to help with set-up and take-down. Expect to be on your feet for the duration of the shift as well as some lifting, bending, etc.
Food Bank of the Rockies requires every member of the group to register individually under the specific group and event. This registration process allows each volunteer to accept our waiver ahead of volunteering and will allow them to track their volunteer hours with Food Bank of the Rockies. All group participants must be signed up 2 weeks prior to the volunteer shift (By October 23, 2025).

The Delores Project provides safe, comfortable shelter and personalized services for unaccompanied women and transgender individuals experiencing homelessness. We also work to end homelessness by advocating for housing solutions.

Volunteers will assemble welcome bags filled with essentials like diapers, blankets, and baby care items for families supported by Denver Health. These thoughtful gifts provide comfort and support to parents working hard to care for their little ones.

*We ask that all individuals 16 years and older fill out their own application. Those individuals under 16 looking to volunteer can be added to a legal parent/guardian's application.

- Opportunities List: You will have to select NIN Packing Session under the Activity Section to see all the dates and times available. You will see all packing session slots, even the full ones, so you may have to keep scrolling through to find one that works for you. Once you see one you would like to sign-up for, click on the + Sign Up button and then you'll be all set.
- If you have children 15 years and under attending a packing session with you, please email me so we can add them to the session.

Newborns in Need: One-third of all babies in Denver are born at Denver Health. 90 percent of them come from families who struggle to get by. Newborns in Need give all children born at Denver Health a healthy start in life by providing essentials that help them grow strong: diapers, blankets, bassinets and car seats, to name a few. Their parents are often the frontline and backroom workers who are essential to the services we depend upon each day. In Denver, 24,000 children live in working families that earn less than the federal poverty rate. 41,000 children have no parent with full-time, year-round employment.

Register Here!Help deliver life-saving medical supplies to communities in need around the world! Volunteers will sort, pack, and prepare donated medical equipment for shipment to hospitals and clinics that lack essential resources.
Volunteers need to sign up at least one week in advance here.

👕 Clothing - Please wear closed-toed shoes. We also highly recommend that individuals wear comfortable clothes (for bending, kneeling, lifting, etc).
Orientation - Project C.U.R.E. will first conduct a brief orientation and training for any new volunteers before starting our session.
Food and Drink: We have a break room and a refrigerator available for your use. You may bring snacks and beverages for your group.Project C.U.R.E. was founded in a Colorado garage in 1987 and has grown to become a vital part of the mile-high community and economy. We’ve also become the world’s largest distributor of donated medical supplies, equipment, and international medical relief services to doctors and nurses in more than 135 countries. This is no easy feat. The only way we can make it happen is through the help and support of those also willing to get involved.

Register Here!Help fight food insecurity by packing bags of food for school kids and sorting donations in the SECORCares warehouse. Your efforts ensure families in Arapahoe, Douglas, and Elbert Counties can put nutritious food on their tables without financial stress.

As a reminder, our current protocols include:
-Ages 15 and over.
-We ask anyone feeling ill to stay home.
-Bring a lock and plan on using the on-site lockers to lock up any valuables or personal items
-There is parking readily available. We do ask that you please save the spaces closest to the market doors for guests.
-There are bathrooms, water available, access to refrigerator, freezer and microwave.
-The market and warehouse run on the cooler side (think grocery store) so warm, comfortable working clothes and closed toed shoes are required.Please gather and meet your group in the lobby of 17151 Pine Lane, the building on the east end of the parking lot. Ask for Christie Decapite at the check-in desk and who will get you started.
SECORCares serves the residents of Arapahoe, Douglas, and Elbert Counties, struggling with food insecurity. Our free food market allows guests to shop and put food on their tables without choosing between food or paying the bills.
