These are strange times and many of us want to do something meaningful that will make a difference. Below are several ways you can help, touch someone's heart, make them feel cared for and less alone and isolated. We are able to offer choices of at-home and in-person projects. A quick description of all of our projects are below - click on each one to find out more details and sign-up.

CASA (Court-Appointed Special Advocates)
CASA Volunteers are supervised by CASA team members and work alongside the child's legal and professional team. They ensure that the child's physical, mental, educational and emotional needs are being met, and advocate for the child in court, all the while supporting them in their journey to find a safe and permanent home.
Potential CASA Volunteers will complete an online application, interview, and 30 hours of pre-service training. Please note that this process has been adapted to take place virtually during COVID-19. CASA Volunteers must be 21+ years of age and pass a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, and fingerprinting. CASA Volunteers also must be able to make at least an 18-month commitment and have approximately 10-15 hours per month to spend working their case.
KNITTING FOR THE HOMELESS
