WHAT STARTED AS A GOAL IS NOW A MILESTONE!


From 2018 to-date, our incredible volunteers have packaged and delivered over ✨1,009,880 servings✨ and 126,235 pounds of nutritious bean soup, donating them to our network of 50+ local food pantries and nonprofit organizations. 


With food insecurity at an all-time high, this impact couldn’t be more meaningful. Words can't describe how grateful we are to have our community show up and make every pound count.

HOW IT WORKS:

  1. You decide on the kit you want based on the number of people you have and how much you want to pack.
  2. Each kit comes with everything you will need! All the beans, spices, bags, recipes, and instructions.
  3. We will contact you to arrange pick-up timing and logistics. We have several pick up locations for you to choose from, or you can have it delivered and picked up (Denver Metro Area).

"We finished up our bean soup packages last night. It was very impressive how organized it was! Everyone enjoyed the experience and put loving and positive thoughts into each bag as they prepared them. Once the grown-ups left the assembly line, the "kids" came up with a better method of dividing up jobs based on how long each took to equalize the flow and powered through it. And they were all hoping to do it again next month!"

The Need Has Never Been More Urgent:

  • 1 in 9 Colorado residents faces food insecurity (Feeding America, 2024)
  • Nearly 270,000 people in the Denver Metro Area don't know where their next meal will come from (Metro Denver Hunger Relief Coalition, 2024)
  • 1 in 6 Denver area children go to bed hungry (Colorado Blueprint to End Hunger, 2023)
  • Food bank demand has surged 43%  since 2020 (Food Bank of the Rockies, 2024)
  • 15% of residents in the Denver Metro Area report not having enough money for food (US Census Bureau Household Pulse Survey)
  • Food prices have risen 25% in just three years (U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, 2021-2024)
