Food insecurity in our community continues to rise and our local nonprofit partners are seeing more families needing help than ever before. Because of that, we are working hard to get as much food as possible into the community.
We are adding additional opportunities for volunteers to help and will be hosting a food packing event every Friday. These lunchtime projects allow us to package a large amount of bean soup quickly while bringing together people who care deeply about helping our neighbors.
If you’re available, we would love to have you join us for an hour or so to help package bean soup kits that will go directly to our food pantry partners serving people facing food insecurity.
