Period poverty affects countless women and girls in our community—many are forced to choose between buying food or period supplies. Together, we can change that. By assembling these kits, you’ll help restore dignity, health, and confidence to women facing tough circumstances.
MotherWise supports women, children and their families during pregnancy and after a baby is born. Our workshops focus on communicating, solving family problems, and proven information on caring for and connecting with a newborn. You'll also receive one-on-one coaching to navigate work, life, family, and your new baby.

π Harvest Farm, a 100-acre farm located in Wellington, Colorado, provides the opportunity for up to 72 men to achieve self-sufficiency through the New Life Program. For many men coming out of homelessness and addiction, the Farm’s fresh air, rural environment, unique work therapy opportunities, and location away from the city’s temptations provide an ideal place to refocus and begin anew.

π Parking and Check-in: As you pull into the property, proceed North down the main dirt road. It will curve left. Follow it around to the West side of the large red building. Park anywhere and enter the building on the West side near the picnic tables. Upon arrival, please be sure to sign in using the volunteer kiosk. If you are with a group, only one member needs to sign-in for the group. This is essential for us to highlight volunteer contribution and impact.Age Requirements: This opportunity has a minimum age of 16 years old for safety reasons. Anyone ages 16-17 must be accompanied by someone 18 or older. Please do not bring family members or guests who are under 16.
π Dress Code: Please dress in a manner that is modest and appropriate for working. Please refrain from wearing opened toe shoes, tank-tops, midriff tops, short shorts, and any clothing that is: tight, low-cut, or has controversial imprints. If you are dressed inappropriately, you may be asked to reschedule.
A tip for kitchen volunteers: If you wear a hat (long hair must also be in a pony tail), you will not be required to wear a hairnet.
Denver Rescue Mission has been serving the most vulnerable in our community for more than 128 years. At multiple locations throughout our community, we help restore the lives of people experiencing homelessness and addiction through emergency services, rehabilitation, transitional programs, and community outreach.

Register Here!Help check-in and distribute food to members of the community, volunteers may be asked to help with set-up and take-down. Expect to be on your feet for the duration of the shift as well as some lifting, bending, etc.
All group participants must be signed up 2 weeks prior to the volunteer shift (By October 23, 2025).
Any spot not filled prior to that deadline will be released back out to the public and will no longer be guaranteed for your group. Members can still register if there are open spots on the website, but it will be open to the public as well and will be distributed on a first come first serve basis. Your group coordinator will receive a reminder email prior to that cut off.

As a part of the event registration each person accepts the volunteer agreement and waiver.

Register Here!Join the Canal Conservation Corps for a community trash cleanup! ποΈ
We will start the workday here at 8:30am (volunteers can park here), and move our way north along the trail picking up brush.
The trail here is a gravel/dirt path with lots of shade in the Canal. We will be going into the channel and pulling out large pieces of brush to help with fire mitigation and reduce damming.
- Volunteers should wear long sleeves and long pants. Please wear layers and sturdy, closed-toe shoes.
- All necessary supplies, including gloves, water refills, snacks, sunscreen, bug spray, brush bags, loppers, and more will be provided.
All volunteers must sign the online volunteering waiver once annually.
Volunteers under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian signature and children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
