Age Requirements: This opportunity has a minimum age of 16 years old for safety reasons. Anyone ages 16-17 must be accompanied by someone 18 or older. Please do not bring family members or guests who are under 16.
π Dress Code: Please dress in a manner that is modest and appropriate for working. Please refrain from wearing opened toe shoes, tank-tops, midriff tops, short shorts, and any clothing that is: tight, low-cut, or has controversial imprints. If you are dressed inappropriately, you may be asked to reschedule.

Where You’ll Be Serving: The Ministry Outreach Center (MOC) is the central warehouse and distribution location for the Mission. People in need of food, clothing, furniture, and household items find assistance at this location.

This is an active role involving lifting, bending, and standing, with accommodations available as needed. Your efforts help students find seasonal, stylish clothing while enjoying a welcoming and supportive environment.
When you arrive at CTKD:
Come into the Donation Center door - left of the barber shop. To check in, you will...
- Introduce yourself to a staff member and put on a name tag.
- Sign our volunteer logbook and waiver.
- Store any personal items in the lockers. Locks are not provided.Volunteer Roles:
Volunteers may serve in a few different ways. These are active volunteer roles - you will be moving boxes, bending into bins, lifting bags and standing for the duration of their volunteer shift. We do make accommodations as needed.Adult volunteers may work directly with the families we serve. These volunteers will help shoppers find the school clothes they need for their children and check them out when done shopping. This is a customer service position that requires a great deal of empathy, kindness and patience with our shoppers who often are in challenging circumstances and sometimes don't speak English.
Both adult and teen volunteers process incoming clothing and shoe donations by sorting, sizing, and hanging the items needed to restock the store.
- This position requires great attention to detail to make sure we are outfitting the students we serve with high quality clothing.
- This role is essential to keeping the store fully stocked which gives our shoppers the most variety to meet their needs.On any given day, volunteers may also:
- Greet clothing donors and assist unloading donations.
- Keep the store organized and tidy by straightening clothing racks, sorting hangers or taking out the recycling.
- "Rainbow" the racks.
- Help with other needs or special projects.π What to wear:
We suggest you wear casual clothes suitable for a work environment.
- Comfortable shoes are a good idea since volunteers will be on their feet the entire shift.

Food Bank of the Rockies: We provide food and necessities to people in need through signature programs and by teaming up with hundreds of Hunger Relief Partners to serve communities across Colorado and Wyoming, the largest food bank coverage area in the contiguous United States. We believe that for a community to thrive, every member must have the resources they need to flourish, and we strive to provide equitable access to proper nourishment for all.
ποΈ Food Bank of the Rockies requires every member of the group to register individually under the specific group and event. This registration process allows each volunteer to accept our waiver ahead of volunteering and will allow them to track their volunteer hours with Food Bank of the Rockies. All group participants must be signed up 2 weeks prior to the volunteer shift (By October 23, 2025).

Colorado Pet Pantry will temporarily feed Colorado pets, allowing families to increase their ability to care for pets with the goal of keeping them out of shelters and with their families.
Basic Guidelines:
- All volunteers must be over the age of 18 to work in our warehouse.
- Lifting is required – repetitive lifting of 30+ pounds (please let us know if this is a problem for anyone and we can adjust their tasks accordingly)
- Attention to detail is needed for this role
- You MUST wear closed-toe shoes - you will be on your feet for about three hours in a warehouse environment

Join us at the Food for Thought East pack-site to pack PowerSacks! You'll be packing food to help our grade school kids bridge the hunger gap over the weekend. This is a simple, easy task that's perfect for work teams and families, although we do ask that children be at least 8 years of age to participate. Activities at FFT East take place inside a warehouse, so please make sure you are dressed comfortably for both movement and the weather--layers are a good idea!

Register Here!The Village Pantry addresses food insecurity through a pantry that specializes in providing culturally appropriate groceries, meals, and hygiene supplies to thousands of individuals each week.
Volunteer tasks vary from day to day, but include unloading deliveries, packaging food, cleaning, stocking, carrying bags and boxes from our downstairs warehouse, and pantry registration.
π Parking is available across the street from our front entrance on 16th Street. If you are coming on a Wednesday for Pantry parking can be harder to find. For large groups we can arrange additional parking in the church across from us on Havana St. Enter through our main doors on 16th. Our doors are locked so you will wait for our front office team to let you in. Then you’ll check-in and get a volunteer badge. Please wear your badge at all times.
We encourage volunteers to bring these items:

• Water bottle

Volunteer tasks vary from day to day, but include weeding, harvesting, pest control, and simple construction projects.
πVillage Farm is located at the Stanley Marketplace property at 2501 Dallas Street, Aurora, CO 80010.
π Street parking is available along Beeler street and is the closest parking to the trail down to the farm.
Follow these steps and the map to get to our Big Blue Trailer:
• Our crossroads are 26th Ave and Beeler street.
• When you are on the corner of 26th Ave and Beeler street, you will see construction signage.Find the gravel pedestrian walkway, and follow the trail to the farm.
*Please note that the farm is adjacent to the Westerly Creek trail construction site. The farm itself is not a construction zone, but construction is taking place near the farm.
We work in all weather conditions – be sure to check the weather and bring these items:
