Register Here!Volunteer Requirements: A Precious Child accepts volunteers 5 years of age and older. Volunteers ages 5-12 must attend with a parent or guardian. Volunteers 13 years old and up can volunteer independently.
🚙 Parking & Arrival: Free parking is available in our lot and along W 118th Ave. Please enter through Unit 6, our Volunteer Center, to check-in for your shift.
Attire: All volunteers are required to wear closed-toed shoes. We also recommend dressing for the weather, as our warehouse temperature can vary as garages doors may be open.Registration Instructions:
Each individual must register on A Precious Child's website online using the step-by-step instructions below no later than one-week before your scheduled service date.

3. Once you have created your account or logged in, you will be re-directed to your groups volunteer event; click the red “Sign Up” button to register for your preferred shift time and position

4. Review our Volunteer Authorization, Waiver, and Release Form and accept that you understand.

434 ⚡️ Pack Power Snacks with Food for Thought (MSU) Edward Jones - Friday, 11/7 | 7AM–9AM

🥪 Volunteers help little ones bridge the hunger gap between the meals they receive at school and the weekend, when these meals are not available.
Activities at FFT MSU take place outside, so please make sure you are dressed comfortably for both movement/lifting and the weather--layers are a good idea!
DIRECTIONS: Take the Colfax exit from I-25 and head east. At Osage St, turn right and continue south to 13th Ave. At 13th Ave, turn right and go west about one and a half blocks to Rio Ct. Turn right onto Rio Ct and proceed north back toward Colfax. Rio Ct will start to loop west passing parallel to the Colfax viaduct but just underneath it. At 5th Street, Rio Ct becomes W. Colfax Ave. We’re on the NE corner of 5th St and Rio Ct.
Please arrive at 7:00 am so we can chat for a minute before we start to pack, and wear comfortable clothing and layers, as things can be chilly before you get moving!Volunteers must register here. Group code is Kristie0711
Food For Thought Denver strives to eliminate childhood hunger by providing a PowerSack for students to take home to their family for the weekend.
440 🌽 Food Pantry: Village Exchange Center (Edward Jones) - Friday, 11/7 | 2PM–4PM

The Village Pantry addresses food insecurity through a pantry that specializes in providing culturally appropriate groceries, meals, and hygiene supplies to thousands of individuals each week.
🚙 Parking is available across the street from our front entrance on 16th Street. If you are coming on a Wednesday for Pantry parking can be harder to find. For large groups we can arrange additional parking in the church across from us on Havana St.
Enter through our main doors on 16th. Our doors are locked so you will wait for our front office team to let you in. Then you’ll check-in and get a volunteer badge. Please wear your badge at all times.
We encourage volunteers to bring these items:
• Close-toed and comfortable shoes you’re ok with getting dirty
• Clothing that’s moveable
• Water bottle
• DO NOT BRING: any valuables, weapons, alcohol, or drugs. You can put any coats or bags in our break room. Any items lost or stolen are not the responsibility of Village Exchange Center.We welcome student volunteers who are 15 years of age or older. Anyone under 15 should have a parent or guardian to provide supervision.
