Weekend of Action
Due to COVID 19 our Weekend of Action is cancelled.
Stay tuned for future events!
PROJECT OUR TOWN's Weekend of Action is an annual 3-day weekend of community service/social action projects that benefit our community. We mobilize hundreds of volunteers and send them out into the greater Denver area to accomplish a wide range of projects. The projects have a lasting impact for countless individuals as well as the non-profit agencies that serve the people in need in our community.
This year, unfortunately, gathering our community for our
Weekend of Action is not possible.
Because of the effects of COVID 19, life is different for our volunteers, our agencies, and the recipients of the work. With the safety guidelines changing and uncertainty, we are not able to organize our 2020 Weekend of Action.
The goal of the weekend has always been about making a lasting impact, not only on many worthy organizations, causes, and individuals, but also on the volunteers themselves. Our plan is to fuel the generosity and spirit of doing for others and them in new and different, but still significant, worthwhile, and lasting ways.
Watch for more information to come!
PROJECT OUR TOWN not only serves the greater community, but it also builds bridges among various segments of our population. Volunteers will serve side-by-side for those in need. The spirit of volunteerism and giving to others helps build a more cohesive, sensitive, and understanding community.
Our hope is that the generosity and spirit of doing for others comes alive in a new, significant, worthwhile, and lasting way.
