The Sanctuary is a multi-purpose center that ensures the safety of youth and families through combined juvenile assessment, crisis intervention, short term shelter, RCCF program, educational and treatment services for male and female youth ages 5-17.
It has up to 28 male/female youth, 16 group care counselors, 4 on site supervisors that can help facilitate programming, and intakes 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The program is designed to provide shelter to youth for up to two weeks while situational stabilization is sought after. If deemed appropriate youth can stay for an extended period based on their needs. The Sanctuary allows over 500 youth to be served each year! shilohhouse.org

The Family Resource Pavilion is a community partnership that promotes the well-being of young people and their families through coordinated access to a comprehensive network of support services.
The facility is open 24 hours a day to youth and families. The Family Resource Pavilion is a welcoming place for young people and their families to go for help with a variety of life’s challenges including school and behavioral issues, family conflict, drug use, juvenile court involvement, and more.
There is a team of experts at the Pavilion to learn about each family’s strengths and needs and matches them with the services that they need. They have nine partners all under one roof to provide the services these families need. Volunteers will distribute 200 "Crisis Cards." These cards provide information about the Suicide Prevention Hotline and other mental health questions or immediate needs. Participants will meet at The Hub to pick up cards and discuss and determine locations. Volunteers will then distribute to those locations to place on cars, hand out, bulletin boards, etc.

Restrictions: Group must have an individual that has a car, a driver, and an individual to help carry grocery bags. Comfortable with population - elderly, disabled, and/or ill.
Volunteers will drive to the program site, pick up groceries, and deliver them to residences using a route designated by the program. Once you are finished delivering the route, you are free to go. No need to go back to the program site.

The Family Resource Pavilion is a community partnership that promotes the well-being of young people and their families through coordinated access to a comprehensive network of support services.
The facility is open 24 hours a day to youth and families. The Family Resource Pavilion is a welcoming place for young people and their families to go for help with a variety of life’s challenges including school and behavioral issues, family conflict, drug use, juvenile court involvement, and more.
There is a team of experts at the Pavilion to learn about each family’s strengths and needs and then matches them with the services that they need. They have nine partners all under one roof to provide the services these families need. Partners include Synergy Addition Research and Treatment, AllHealth Network, Juvenile Diversion Counseling Program, Arapahoe County Department of Human Services, Douglas County Department of Human Services, Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office, Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, and Shiloh House. shilohhouse.org

103 COLORADO PET PANTRY - sort and organize pet food donations
The Colorado Pet Pantry is a pet food bank with 19 distribution locations. The Colorado pet pantry will temporarily feed Colorado pets, allowing families to increase their ability to care for pets with the goal of keeping them out of shelters and with their families. coloradopetpantry.org

Restrictions: Kids must be with an adult. Must be able to carry up to 30 lbs. If volunteers can’t lift that much, they will be given other jobs.

208 MENTAL HEALTH CENTER OF DENVER - Distribute Crisis Cards
MCHD works to enable adults to live more fulfilling and productive lives, children to be more resilient, and families to be happier and healthier.

Volunteers will distribute 200 "Crisis Cards." These cards provide information about the Suicide Prevention Hotline and other mental health questions or immediate needs. Participants will meet at The Hub to pick up cards and discuss and determine locations. Volunteers will then distribute to those locations to place on cars, hand out, bulletin boards, etc.

408 SPECIAL OLYMPICS - Bowl with kids and adults with intellectual disabilities (11:30 a.m.) (16+ or 8-15 with adult)

Restrictions: 16+ can volunteer. 8-15 yrs must have adult with them. <7 yrs old can be cheerleader but must have adult with them. 8-15 yr olds must have one adult for every 3 kids.8-15 yr olds need 3:1 ratio. Meaning one adult for every 3 kids.
Volunteers will bowl with Special Olympics participants for the State Fall Classic Bowling Tournament.
